IdeationCloud Pro Beta launch, Oracle VM Book launch, Upcoming books and much more

All,

A few thoughts I’d like to share with you.

IdeationCloud Pro Cloud Service: I intend to launch the Beta by Nov 09 and want to go live by Jan 2010. Goal is simple: Involve you, you take most of the cash/earning and I get to take the hosting but also honor of empowering you.

What will it carry?

-Market analysis, Reports (SWOTs for leading firms etc)
- Research reports around emerging trends such as Computing Clouds, Virtualization, Unified Communications, GreenTech and more (you bring the content with you)

The pricing will be extremely competitive and I will work on all the legalities to protect your privacy, identity and your content. I also want this to be a killer Service that can ONLY be done by your involvement and empowerment. So please think out of the box and come out to tell something that yo really think will change the world.

We just published our first, free IEEE paper (which you should also be able to procure via IEEE site, IEEE publications etc). Anyways it is is here for you to enjoy. http://www.ideationcloud.com/realtime-articles/ on our Real-time Analysis section.

Oracle VM Book: It is finally released. http://www.ideationcloud.com/oracle-vm-book/

Upcoming Books: We’ll be doing a book on Cloud (my co-author on the IEEE paper will be co-authoring this book as well), an Advanced Desktop Virtualization book and a book on Mac Virtualization. For many of these books I will need a co-author, while some are already selected, as more work comes I will select them as well. They all come from this group which is cool. I don’t have to send emails to my 2000+ direct connections as they know for sure what I’m upto..well mostly :-)

Deal is simple: There is nothing worthwhile if not done together. Value-add, some financial incentive and recognition, it all is crucial and while many of you may have it, it is a pleasure to also work with amazing youngsters, such as my co-author on IEEE.

And most important is to still keep it free and open. That vision I intend to take to the Pro service where you get to decide, you write your stuff and you take away what you want to take away. Like a large 21st century firm that is more UnCorporation than a typical Corporation. A world where most of us will be working collaboratively and in multiple ways.

While you and I will always need the basic minimum to sustain ourselves (feed family, send kids to school, pay rent, etc), we will also be able to decide when we want to speed up our pace and surely at some point of time web will empower us in variety of ways that are unthinkable now but will be commonplace by the next decade already.

As always I thank you to be part of this group and truly hope that it gets energized where your participation is crucial.

Tarry Singh
