VMware continues to lose key executives

Alessandro reporting more execs who jumped ship. Last time I spoke to Reza (at VMworld) he seemed pretty lukewarm ab out his stay at VMware. As you can also see in the comments Kate Hutchison too left. We did observe in our previous post how the new COO would be removing Kate (that was the comment of one of the readers from another blogpost). It’s no mass exodus like we thought after Diane’s removal but exodus is surely is.
With more players coming to the market and Oracle taking virtualization rather seriously, many industry veterans are wondering what will be EMCs future without VMware. VMware itself is being drained of its exec talent and now we may have EMC with a big and overbloated (stock-wise) VMware.
Acquisition may be the easy way out but I wonder if Cisco is anymore interested.
